WELL IV PLAYED HOCKEY AND BASKETBALL FINALS….
BASKETBALL I MADE IT THROUGH TO PRELIMINARY BUT LOST BY FOUR POINTS TO NARRE JACKS. I WAS REAL UPSET WITH THE FACT THAT IT WAS ONLY FOUR MORE POINTS AND WE COULD’VE WON!
ANYWAY….MOVING ON…HOCKEY!! HOCKEY ONYL HAS SEMIS AND GRAND FINALS SO ITS PRETTY EASY. WE WON SEMIS LUCKILY THANKS TO A DRAW OF ONE ALL..WE WON CAUSE WE WERE HIGHER THAN THE OTHER TEAM ON THE LADDER. WE WERE ALSO LUCKY BECAUSE WE DREW BECAUSE OF AN OWN GOAL….FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON’T KNOW WHAT AN OW GOAL IS, IT’S WHEN THE OTHER TEAM SCORES A GOAL FOR YOU TEAM…GET IT?
WELL TONIGHT IS HOCKEY GRAND FINALS AT MELBOURNE HIGH, SOUTH YARRA AT 7. I WISH IT WAS EARLIER BUT CAUSE I COULD’VE SEEN SOME BOYS..HEHEHEHE…ANY WAYS..THAT’S IT..IM GOING TO GO COMMENT PEOPLE MAYBE WRITE MORE LATER…HOLIDAYS!! IT’S EXCITING ALRIGHT!! LATERZ…SHANNAZ
Hey guys!!!
I’m really excited!!! I have basketball finals coming up this week! I never thought we would make it, but it turns out that we’re second on the ladder. Two teams are at equal points at the top, but we’ve bet both the teams, so in a way we’re undefeated!!! My coach was real upset with the team at the start of the season because she said we didn’t give her what she wanted from us. She was so upset that she made a really tight deal with us. If we won in finals, she would stay with us, but if we failed to reach her goal, we would have to say good-bye to her.I love my coach…she’s taught me heaps for the past three seasons that I’ve had her. I’ve played my hardest ever this season so that i won’t have to cry at the end of this season. WE WILL WIN!!! that’s what i’ve been repeating over and over again in my mind.
I play hockey too. We on the top of the ladder!! Finals is coming up next friday, and this friday is our last normal game. I have to miss it but because it’s my sister’s confirmation. My sis knows how much i love my sport, and she told me to go and said that she would understand if i chose to go. I love Ash…sometimes she’s a pest…but at times she’s really cute and can be the best sister in the world…bells gone…LATERZ

A good teacher? Where to begin with the best teachers in the world? What qualities do they have? So many that you wonder where they keep it all!
Everyone has their own opinions of their favorite teacher, or who they think are great at teaching, and who actually gets them to stay in concentration.
To me, a good teacher is like someone who doesn’t completely act like a teacher. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean they’re slack or anything, I’m just saying that they are more kind of relaxed with being around their students. They understand their students. They don’t only teach, but also learn about things that they never knew before, and they can take in the fact that they don’t know everything, and that other people’s opinions also matter.
To be a good teacher, in my opinion, you should have these qualities. You should be able to speak, yet listen. You should be able to say yes, yet no. You should be able to open up, yet remember that you have a special job to do. You should be able to teach, yet learn and finally you should be able to give respect, to gain respect.
A good learner is making sure that you know what’s going on. Just because you understand in that one lesson what you’re learning about, doesn’t mean you’re a good learner. You should be able to remember what you have learnt for years and years. It’s not easy to be a good learner, but it’s always worth a try, because I know for a fact that it will be helpful for you in the future. Maybe not the near future, but definitely in the future.
I also believe that a good learner is different than a good student. For example, take two basketball players. The M.V.P(Most Valuable Player) is the good student, because he/she always does his/her best, and succeeds. Another player who may have only joined the team a month or two before the season was going to end, I would call a good learner. They slowly learn and always keep it in their mind, like making sure your elbow is straight and in level with the hoop. The M.V.P definitely wouldn’t make sure his/her elbow is in the exact place it should be.
I know this may be difficult for you to understand, but just think of it as a good student always does what they’re only meant to do, where as a good learner will always try and do extra, like studying, or putting a little bit of extra information in their assignment.
I chose this class to learn techniques in writing. I have been writing stories since I was in Grade 4. My first one was called ‘Bob in Egypt’ I’m so sure I have that little book still lying around somewhere. I love to write. I lose my mind and enter a fantasy world. It’s so relaxing and relieving. This class will hopefully make my imagination spread out more, help me with getting the right words to write down, help me to make sure my story is the right length. You might think these things are little things, and anyone could be able to do it, but if you’re really into your writing, you will know that even the end of the book, needs the perfect line.

Welcome to my blog! It’s not at its best at the moment coz i haven’t really got into jus yet. My english teacher reckons its really good, and so far i can see that it ,might be pretty good.
Because its my first post ima introduce myself. My name is Shantelle, but my nickname is Shannaz, and its wah i prefer to b called. Im in year nine and ive pick the subject ‘Recreating the Writer’ because i like to write. Not poems and really complicated things, mainly just stories. I love sports! Basketball is number one, but i play basically anything you want me too. I also like music, because I was bought up in a musical family. My mum and sister Ash sing, along with my dad and I. Ash also plays the piano, and my dad plays the piano and guitar. I play both piano and drum, but I would always pick the drums over piano.
I dunno wah else to write so Ima go… I’LL BE BACK!
